Schola Cantorum has scheduled choral events on back-to-back days next week.

The group is set to perform its “We Wish You Christmas” family concerts 1:30 and 3 p.m. Sunday at First Congregational Church of Palo Alto. Schola’s “2012 Messiah Sing: Good Tidings of Great Joy” is slated 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts.

The family concert features Schola’s chorus and harpist Dan Levitan performing songs by John Rutter, Brian Holmes, Jackson Berkey and Dale Wood. There will also be a sing-along of children’s favorites and a visit from Santa Claus. Tickets are $10-$25.

The Monday event is a sing-along to Handel’s “Messiah.” Scores will be supplied. Tickets are $16-$24.
