Sonja Konevich and Rob Hunter

Sonja Konevich and Rob Hunter have announced their engagement to be married Oct. 19. The ceremony and reception will take place in San Francisco.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mitzi and Bob Konevich of Los Altos. She graduated from St. Francis High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in consumer sciences from Meredith College. She is employed as a driver for the startup Lyft.

The groom-to-be is the son of Bob and Claudette Hunter of South Pasadena. He graduated from Polytechnic School and earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from UC Berkeley. He is an iPhone app developer.

The couple plan to live in San Francisco.
