Bank of the West robbed again
Written by Diego Abeloos

For the second time in less than three weeks, Bank of the West at 176 Main Street has been robbed.

According to Los Altos Police, an African-American male entered the bank at approximately 9:45 a.m. today (March 1), walked up to a teller and demanded cash.

Police Sgt. Cameron Shearer said the suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt with a hoodie pulled over his head and blue denim jeans. The suspect appeared to “simulate” having a concealed weapon in his possession at the time of the robbery, he noted.

The suspect, who took an undisclosed amount of cash, was last seen exiting the bank’s rear entry in plaza central, heading toward San Antonio Road. Shearer added that police have been actively searching the area for the suspect.

It's cute that the mayor is a young little kid and wears a bow tie, but we need some real leadership to stop the massive increase in crime.

I think the Bank of the West needs to take care of business! It isn't up to the mayor. 2x in 2 weeks! The robbers know where the weak links are.
