The Peninsula Democratic Coalition has scheduled U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-15th District) to speak at its annual meeting noon Saturday at the Los Altos Youth Center, 1 N. San Antonio Road.

Swalwell, 32, upset longtime Congressman Pete Stark in November to become the second-youngest new member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Swalwell will discuss his campaign and his early impressions of the 113th Congress.

Doors will open at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at noon. Election of board members and officers for the coming year is on the agenda.

Lunch is free for PDC members, $5 for nonmembers.
