Howard honored Stanford University freshman Brittany Howard of Los Altos has earned a spot on the All-Pac-12 women’s volleyball team. The Mountain View High graduate started all 30 of the Cardinal’s regular-season matches, notching eight double-doubles. Howard recorded as many as 15 kills in a match, a feat she accomplished twice. Trees for sports The MVLA High School Christmas Tree Lot is back in business, scheduled to be open 4-7 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekends at the former location of Blockbuster, 1035 El Monte Ave., Mountain View. Holiday hoops camp Spartans Sports Camp’s inaugural Holiday Basketball Camp is scheduled 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 26-29 in the Mountain View High gym. It is open to boys and girls in grades 5-8.
