Tee it up The annual Palo Alto City Men’s Golf Championship is scheduled Oct. 27 and 28 at the Palo Alto Golf Course. The format is 36 holes of stroke play. Pumpkins for sports The Los Altos High School Sports Boosters have scheduled their annual Pumpkin Patch 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily through Halloween in the student parking lot at 201 Almond Ave. Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes will be available. Proceeds benefit the school’s athletic programs. Holiday hoops camp Spartans Sports Camp’s inaugural Holiday Basketball Camp is scheduled 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 26-29 in the Mountain View High gym. It is open to boys and girls in grades 5-8. Led by Mountain View coaches and alumni, the fast-paced camp will focus on shooting, ball handling and defense. Cost is $175.
