Funds from the Los Altos Hills Community Service Agencies Grant Program will support Partners for Elder Generations’ annual “Encore! Investigate Your Passion and Get Involved,” an interactive event scheduled March 23, 2013 at the Los Altos Youth Center.
The Encore event targets Los Altos and Los Altos Hills residents older than 50 who have more time to serve their communities.
More than 28 nonprofit organizations that rely on volunteers will attend the event to explain how residents could be of service to their groups.
A special seminar will outline the benefits of staying involved as one ages.
