Real estate association installs 2014 leadership team

Members of the 2014 board of directors of the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors took the oath of office Jan. 9.

The Silicon Valley Association of Realtors installed its 2014 leadership team Jan. 9 at Villa Ragusa in Campbell.

California Association of Realtors President Kevin Brown administered the oath of office to SILVAR’s new president, Alain Pinel Realtors’ David Tonna, and incoming board of directors.

A realtor for 25 years, Tonna served on SILVAR’s board of directors 2004-2007, and from 2009 until the present. He has served as California Association of Realtors Region 9 director since 2005. Tonna has been a member of numerous committees, including Education, PRDS Forms, Budget and Finance, Political Action and Pro Standards, and served as chairman of the Bay Area Realtors Leadership Academy.

Christopher Isaacson, a realtor with Coldwell Banker in Woodside, will serve as SILVAR’s president-elect. Phyllis Carmichael, a realtor with Coldwell Banker in Los Altos, took the oath as the organization’s new treasurer.

SILVAR’s 2014 board of directors includes Carolyn Miller of RE/MAX Real Estate Services, past president; Suzanne Yost of Alain Pinel Realtors, Region 9 chairwoman; Lehua Greenman of Coldwell Banker, Menlo Park/Atherton District chairwoman; Jeff Beltramo of Coldwell Banker, Palo Alto District chairman; Bonnie Kehl and Joe Brown of Coldwell Banker, co-chairs of the Los Altos/Mountain View District; Sue Bose of Referral Realty, Cupertino/Sunnyvale District chairwoman; Mark Von Kaenel of Keller Williams Bay Area Estates, Los Gatos/Saratoga District chairman; John Tripp of Foundation Trust, National Association of Realtors director; Jeff Bell of Coldwell Banker, Mark Burns of Referral Realty, Eileen Giorgi of Keller Williams Bay Area Estates, Bill Moody of Referral Realty, Karen Trolan of Alain Pinel Realtors, directors-at-large; and Simon Offord of the Law Offices of Peter Brewer, affiliate chairman.
