ROSEMARY ALISSE HENNIG

OBIT Rosemary-Hennig

A child of joy, Rosemary Alisse Hennig lit up the lives of her family and friends from the moment of her arrival on March 29, 1988 in Mountain View CA. She attended Springer School, Blach, and Mountain View High (Class of 2006) and moved onto Fresno State with an equestrian scholarship and was active with her sorority Kappa Alpha Theta - Gamma Chi chapter.

In Feb 2008, mid-way through Rose's sophomore year at Fresno, she was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma. When initial treatment failed to eradicate the aggressive cancer Rose underwent a Bone Marrow Transplant at Stanford in Jan 2009.

Our Warrior Princess, took on every obstacle with focus, determination and spirit. She withheld her fears from those she loved and she brought joy and laughter to all with her brutal wit. She counted her doctors and nurses as some of her dearest and closest confidents. With loved ones at her side Rose flew from this world Dec 5, 2013.

Rose's parents, Brian and Marianne Hennig, and sister, Kate Gurnee invite you to a Celebration of Rose's Life on Friday, January 17th, 11am Memorial Mass at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, followed by a reception at The Hall at St. William Catholic Church, Los Altos, CA.
