CTC's Weekend Family Series lineup includes several classics

California Theatre Center (CTC) recently announced its 38th Weekend Family Season of professional shows for young audiences.

Shows are scheduled most Saturday mornings and some afternoons and evenings through May at the Sunnyvale Theatre.

CTC was founded by Gayle Cornelison in 1976.

Remaining performances, along with times and dates, follow.

• “The Princess and the Pea,” 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 and Feb. 1; 7 p.m. Jan. 18.

• “The Frog Prince,” 11 a.m. Jan. 25, Feb. 8 and 15; 7 p.m. Feb. 7.

• “Charlotte’s Web,” 11 a.m. Feb. 22, March 8 and 15.

• “The Reluctant Dragon,” 11 a.m. March 22 and 29; 7 p.m. March 28.

• “The Ugly Duckling,” 11 a.m. April 5 and 12.

• “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,” 11 a.m. April 19 and 26.

• “Hansel and Gretel,” 7 p.m. May 2; 11 a.m. May 3 and 10.

The theater is located at the Sunnyvale Community Center, 550 E. Remington Drive.

Tickets are $13-$15; discounted season passes and group rates are available.
