Robert J. Norton of Los Altos, California, passed away peacefully on 12/6/13 after a long illness. Bob was born on 6/9/25 in Lewiston ID. He met the love of his life, Dolores Williams ("Punky") at Iowa State University, where he majored in electrical engineering, participating in the Navy's V-12 program.

They were married 5/3/47 in Downer's Grove, IL, and moved to Olympia, WA where he began his engineering career.Bob was a member of the Catholic Church. He and Punky lived in Los Altos for the past 43 years. Bob was a devoted family man, spending many happy times skiing, boating and hiking with Punky and their four children.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife who died in 2006, and their son Jeffrey Alan who died in 1991. He is survived by his sons Gregory (Gerene) and Steven (Susan), and daughter Katie and daughter-in-law Maria, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
