Oct. 21, 10:12 a.m., 2000 block of Madelaine Court: A resident contacted police after receiving a scam call and sending $4,000 to the scammers via Western Union.
Drunk in public arrest
Oct. 21, 7:21 p.m., 2800 block of El Camino Real: Police arrested a 52-year-old male out of San Jose after he began yelling and threatening others at a bus stop while intoxicated.
Oct. 21, 9:01 p.m., 300 block of San Luis Avenue: An unknown suspect kicked in the back door of the home and stole cash that was left for a dog walker. The break-in occurred between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., according to police.
Harassment by phone
Oct. 22, 10:13 a.m., 300 block of S. San Antonio Road: A male resident contacted police after an ex-girlfriend threatened via a text message to show up at his work and reveal embarrassing personal information about him to his colleagues.
Oct. 24, 8:43 a.m., 600 block of Giralda Drive: An unknown suspect entered the residential construction site through an unsecured door and stole tools and small appliances.
Drug paraphernalia citation
Oct. 24, 12:39 p.m., Alvarado and Vera Cruz avenues: A 36-year-old male motorist from Union City was cited and released after police searched his vehicle and found a straw used to snort cocaine, as well as small bags containing drug residue. Officers also discovered the man was driving on a suspended license at the time and impounded his vehicle.
