Drunk in public arrest

Oct. 9, 11:33 p.m., 4800 block of El Camino Real: Police arrested a 43-year-old male Sunnyvale resident for being intoxicated in public after they initially approached him because he appeared to be ill. The suspect was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

Fraud

Oct. 11, 2:34 p.m., 100 block of Gordon Way: A male resident in a dispute with his wife contacted police after he accused her of forging checks using his identity. Police are investigating the matter.

Stolen property recovered

Oct. 11, 2:57 p.m., 1000 block of Montclaire Way: Representatives from Google Inc. contacted police after discovering that one of their on-campus bicycles was stolen and later found in Sunnyvale. The company provides bikes to allow employees to travel on its company campus from building to building. According to police, Google representatives contacted a Los Altos resident in possession of the bike and asked for its return without police involvement.

Theft

Oct. 11, 7:19 p.m., 2000 block of Homestead Road: Police arrested a 15-year-old female from Cupertino after a store employee caught her trying to steal less than $100 worth of items. The juvenile was later cited and released to her parents.

Credit card fraud

Oct. 12, 9:14 p.m., 800 block of Carnation Court: A Los Altos resident contacted police after learning that an unknown individual charged approximately $3,500 worth of online purchases to the victim’s credit card. Police are investigating the matter.
