Hat sales support veterans at Foothill College : Veterans Corner

The Veterans Support Committee of the Rotary Club of Los Altos recently launched a fundraiser to support the educational and career goals of local military veterans who use the Veterans Resource Center at Foothill College.

The center assists the veterans by providing mentoring, academic support, employment opportunities and scholarships.

The committee accepts donations, which support the Capt. Matt Manoukian Scholarship Fund.

Contributions of $50 or more entitle donors to a cap that says “We Support Veterans USA.”

A benefactor has underwritten the cost of the hats to enable 100 percent of the donations to go directly to the fund. All donations are tax deductible.

Make checks payable to the Rotary Club of Los Altos, Veterans Support Committee, and mail to PO Box 794, Los Altos 94023.
