Residential burglaries

April 16, 1:32 p.m., South Avalon Drive: An unidentified suspect gained entry to a residence by forcing open a side door into the laundry room. The suspect stole jewelry from the master bedroom.

April 17, 12:24 p.m., 1000 block of Campbell Avenue: A resident spotted an unknown individual in his backyard. According to police, the resident heard a loud crash and later discovered the side door to his garage had been kicked open. The suspect left the scene without stealing any items from the home.

April 18, 10:48 a.m., 1900 block of Deodara Drive: A 17-year-old female was home alone when she heard two unknown persons having a conversation in another part of the house. The female juvenile contacted her mother, who then contacted police. The suspects fled before police arrived.

Commercial burglary

April 19, 1:48 p.m., 800 block of Altos Oaks Drive: An unknown suspect cut the lock on a construction trailer and stole approximately $20,000 in tools.

Disturbance

April 19, 3:45 p.m., 300 block of Distel Circle: Police reported a homeless female was verbally abusive toward Palo Alto Medical Foundation patients entering and exiting the medical offices. The female left the scene before police arrived.

Restraining order violation

April 19, 10:52 p.m., 600 block of Hollingsworth Drive: Police arrested a 48-year-old male for violating a restraining order filed by a female acquaintance living at the residence. The male suspect was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.
