The indie-rock band The Shins are slated to headline Saturday’s Harmony By The Bay festival at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.
Harmony By The Bay – a multi-artist festival featuring live music, vendors and food trucks from throughout the region – is scheduled Saturday at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.
Indie-rock band The Shins, slated to perform 9:45-11:10 p.m., headline the multistage event.
Musicians set to take the Main Stage prior to The Shins include Erica Hutchinson (from 4-4:45 p.m.), Kimbra (5:15-6:15 p.m.), Alison Krauss & Union Station (6:45-7:45 p.m.) and Tegan and Sara (8:15-9:15).
The Harmony Stage lineup features The Givers (3-3:45 p.m.), The Dirty Heads (4:15-5:15 p.m.), Jimmy Cliff (5:45-6:45 p.m.), Matisyahu (7:15-8:15 p.m.) and Beats Antique (8:45-9:45 p.m.)
The Shins, based in Portland, Ore., began in 1996 as a side project for singer/songwriter/guitarist James Mercer in Albuquerque, N.M. Other members include Joe Plummer (drums), Jessica Dobson (guitar), Yuuki Matthews (bass) and Richard Swift (keyboards).
Tickets to Saturday’s festival range from $29-$125.
