IronKey Inc., a Los Altos-based provider of secure portable computing products and Internet security services, has entered a strategic partnership with Marketlink Services to further develop a nationwide distribution channel for the recently launched IronKey Secure USB Flash Drive.
The partnership will enable IronKey to extend its reach with key enterprise customers, leveraging the sales, marketing and information technology support of Marketlink Services.
"We are excited to partner with IronKey and look forward to helping them grow their enterprise channel," said Dan Dempsey, president of Marketlink Services, an outsourced sales and marketing agency for manufacturers of computer-related products.
Marketlink will provide sales representatives to establish relationships and end-user sales across the country. Marketlink has executed similar strategies for Barracuda Networks, Blackberry/RIM, Netscreen and Symantec.
"Marketlink has developed a stellar reputation for driving market penetration with some of the most well-respected brands in the security space," said David Jevans, CEO of IronKey. "We are excited about the opportunity to work with Marketlink and to leverage their experience to create greater awareness and market penetration for IronKey."
The IronKey is designed to be the world's most secure USB flash drive. Each IronKey Secure Flash Drive includes military-grade hardware encryption as well as a secure, integrated password manager, the ability to back up data seamlessly to a local personal computer and a Secure Sessions Service that allows users to access the Internet safely and securely.
