A public workshop to discuss proposed Santa Clara County septic ordinance changes is scheduled 6-7:30 p.m. Monday (March 25) at the Los Altos Library, 13 S. San Antonio Road.

Santa Clara County is proposing a new ordinance for individual onsite wastewater treatment and disposal systems (OWTS). According to county officials, the new ordinance would remove development constraints for some existing parcels. Development is expected to increase county-wide as development in the Lexington Basin and the Gilroy-San Martin-Morgan Hill area continues.
