Mystical best-seller

The East West Bookstore, 324 Castro St. in Mountain View, highlights a book on its best-sellers list.

• “The Magic” (Atria Books, 2012) by Rhonda Byrne: For more than 20 centuries, words within a sacred text have mystified, confused and been misunderstood by nearly all who read them. Only a very few people through history have realized that the words are a riddle, and that once you solve the riddle and uncover the mystery, a new world will appear before your eyes. In “The Magic,” Byrne reveals this life-changing knowledge to the world and takes readers on a 28-day journey as she teaches how to apply the knowledge in everyday life.
