When you enter a contest in the Los Altos Town Crier, take a look at the following rules:

• If you're under 18, please make sure that your parent or guardian reads and agrees to the terms of this contest before you submit any information.
• The material that you submit may be reproduced by the Los Altos Town Crier in whole or in part, in any and all media, without compensation to entrants of any kind.
• Entries must be received by contest deadlines to be eligible.
• Winners will be notified via the contact information they provided to the Los Altos Town Crier when they entered the contest.
• Unless otherwise specified by a contest, only one entry per person will be considered.
• By submitting material to the Los Altos Town Crier, you represent and warrant that the material doesn't infringe on the copyright of any third party and that you have the full and unrestricted right to transfer the material to the Los Altos Town Crier.
• Winners are solely responsible for any taxes, fees or additional costs incurred by their win.
• If the specified prize becomes unavailable, the Los Altos Town Crier may substitute a prize of like or equal value.
• Contests are null and void in any jurisdiction where they are prohibited by law.
• The Los Altos Town Crier reserves the right to terminate or alter any contest at any time without prior notice.
• In contests in which winners are selected based upon their entries' merits, winners will be chosen by the Los Altos Town Crier based on the merits of each entry. In contest in which winners are selected at random, the odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.
• No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter any Los Altos Town Crier contest.
• Employees of the Los Altos Town Crier and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
