The Euphrat Museum of Art at De Anza College in Cupertino has scheduled the “War and Healing” exhibition through March 21.

Organizers described the exhibition as a “look at war and the healing potential of art,” with visual dialogue that includes veteran, civilian and activist points of view.

Several artists and groups participating in the display have firsthand experience with war, including renowned sculptor Rolf Nord Kriken. A U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran, Kriken is best known for his bronze sculptures at the California Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Sacramento.

The exhibition, curated by Diana Argabrite, will also feature workshops and demonstrations by participating artists through March 9.

“War and Healing” is open to the public 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Group tours are available by appointment.
