Vehicles burglarized, one stolen

Feb. 20, 7 a.m. and 7:46 a.m., 2200 block of Homestead Court: A total of seven vehicles belonging to residents of a nearby apartment complex had windows smashed in and various items stolen. Thieves took golf clubs, vehicle emergency kits, garage remotes and duffel bags, among other items, from the vehicles. One vehicle was stolen from the complex. Suspects abandoned a vehicle, previously reported stolen from San Jose, at the scene.

Feb. 21, 7:42 a.m., 5300 block of Beechwood Lane: After starting a Chevy Silverado to warm it up, the owner went back into the house. When she returned, an unknown suspect had driven the car away.

Petty theft

Feb. 22, 2:14 p.m., 4800 block of El Camino Real: A 65-year-old male with prior incidents of petty theft was arrested at Whole Foods Market for stealing $3 worth of alcohol. The shoplifter was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

Residential burglary

Feb. 21, 1:47 p.m., 400 block of Traverso Avenue: An unknown individual entered through a front window, ransacked the home and stole jewelry and electronics.

Restraining order violation

Feb. 24, 2:48 p.m., 900 block of San Antonio Road: A male subject was arrested after violating his restraining order by sending an inappropriate photo to his ex-wife.
