St. Simon Catholic Parish has scheduled Father Tom Allender to present a three-part Lenten mission series, “Living Out Our Christian Principles in Our Daily Life,” designed to explore living life from the inside out, March 4, 5 and 6. Allender, a nationally known author and preacher, has delivered more than 900 parish missions under the general theme of “Life’s Journey.” Over the past 20 years, he has developed a focus on spirituality grounded in the psychological realities of everyday life. He is the author or co-author of many books and audio tapes on spirituality, including “God Loves an Unmade Bed: Spirituality for the Imperfect” (MW Publishing, 2002).
Two presentations are scheduled each day, one 9:30-11 a.m. and a second 7-8:30 p.m. Topics are: • March 4: “Seeing the Difference between Loving God and God Loving You.” • March 5: “Transforming Our Fears into Faith.” • March 6: “The Journey to Becoming Whole.” Admission is free and open to those of all faiths. Free-will offerings will be collected. St. Simon is located at 1869 Grant Road, Los Altos. For more information, visit parish.stsimon.org/calendars or email Sister Rebecca at
