Whether a sentimental romantic, a modern-day Cupid or someone who ignores the holiday altogether, the Town Crier’s compilation of Valentine’s Day-inspired events may tug at your heartstrings.

 

Valentine’s Red, White and Black Ball

Slip on your dancing shoes and formal attire in red, white or black for a romantic evening of rumba lessons and open dancing. The event will include a sparkling cider bar, live performances and a rose for every woman. Singles and couples are welcome.

Valentine’s Day Dinner Dance

6:15 p.m. Friday

Christ Episcopal Church, 1040 Border Road, Los Altos

The church invites local residents to support veterans and their families by stopping by Christ Episcopal Church for an evening of swing music, dinner and wine. The event benefits the Polytrauma Rehabilitation Unit at the Palo Alto Veterans Administration Hospital.

Glass-painting class
