Four couples from the Gamma Bridge Group recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversaries at a formal dinner. The wives of the group have been playing bridge together since 1960. The husbands join them for a holiday dinner, and this year four of the eight couples celebrated their diamond anniversaries. Pictured, from left, are Melvin and Ruth Stevens of Cupertino, formerly of Los Altos Hills Arthur and Helene Barnes of Stanford Robert and Gina Stevenson of Woodside and Lawrence and Valerie Hamilton of Santa Clara, formerly of Los Altos Hills. Their motto is “Those who play together, stay together.”
