Residential burglaries

Jan. 22, 8:23 a.m., and Jan. 26, 9:29 a.m., 1100 block of South Springer Road: Suspects burglarized a home construction site twice within less than a week. Construction crews reported that someone stole $5,000 worth of tools from the site Jan. 22. Four days later, they reported an additional theft of $1,500 worth of equipment, including a jackhammer, a torch and a leaf-blower, from the same site.

Jan. 22, 4:53 p.m., 1400 block of Fallen Leaf Lane: Suspects forcibly entered the residence through a window in the master bedroom and stole jewelry valued at approximately $3,000.

Fraud

Jan. 22, 2:23 p.m., 400 block of Harrington Court: A resident contacted police after unknowingly receiving credit cards and other documentation in her ex-husband’s name, as well as the name of another individual, by mail.

Pedestrian struck by vehicle

Jan. 22, 7:05 p.m., El Camino Real and Monroe Drive: A male pedestrian walking his bike in the crosswalk was struck by a vehicle and taken to Stanford Hospital for treatment.

Drug arrest

Jan. 24, 10:10 p.m., Fremont Avenue and Lisa Lane: Police arrested a 50-year-old male motorist for possession of methamphetamines during a traffic stop. The male suspect was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.

DUI arrest

Jan. 26, 2:52 a.m., North San Antonio Road and El Camino Real: Police arrested a 31-year-old male for driving under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop for speeding. The suspect was cited and later released from the Los Altos Police station.
