July 22, 1937 - December 29, 2012

Judith S. Duque is now at peace after a courageous battle with cancer.

Judy was born in Los Angeles to Susan & Frederick Stadelman. She attended Marlborough School for Girls from 1951-1955 and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1959, where she was a Kappa Kappa Gamma. She married Henry M. Duque in 1959. They moved from Los Angeles to Los Altos Hills, CA in 1974. She obtained her degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from USF and was an active volunteer of the Los Altos Library, Bay Area Breast Cancer Network, and the Jr. League of Los Angeles and Northern California.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Henry and her loving children Adrienne (Steve), Carolyn (David), Susan (Daryl), and Rick (Cindy); her beloved grandchildren Tripp, Tristan, RJ, Kathryn, David, Hunter & her loyal dog Aruba. She is also survived by beloved sister Katrina (Chris) Cord, sisters-in-law Mary Delia Duque and Bitsy (Dick) Hotaling, as well as by many loving and devoted nieces, nephews & friends. She will be greatly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to causes dear to her heart - the Bay Area Breast Cancer Network, Sacred Heart Nativity Schools of San Jose, or donate a copy of your favorite book to the Los Altos Library in memory of life-long reader Judy Duque.

Services have been held.
