Collette Simko and Brian Knauss were married June 8 at San Francisco City Hall.

The bride is a native of Los Altos Hills. She resided in Spain and Tucson, Ariz., during studies at the University of Arizona. She lived in South America and Southern California while earning a master’s degree from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management.

The groom, originally from Pennsylvania, studied at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. The newlyweds are co-founders of Events by Collette LLC, an event planning company.

The couple live in Silicon Valley.
