Troop 22 Eagles Los Altos Boy Scout Troop 22 recognized three members for achieving their Eagle Scout ranks, the highest designation in Boy Scouts. Approximately 4 percent of all Scouts reach the rank of Eagle Scout. Makinnon Baugh, David Bodine and Jordan Higham were honored at an Eagle Court of Honor ceremony Oct. 14 at the Lucie Stern Community Center in Palo Alto.
• Baugh, son of Brad and Amy Baugh of Los Altos, is a sophomore at Los Altos High School. For his Eagle project, he edited the Cystic Fibrosis website guide for Cystic Fibrosis Research Inc. • Bodine, son of Pete and Michelle Bodine of Los Altos, is a sophomore at Pinewood School. For his Eagle project, he replaced nine chalkboards with white boards at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Jordan Avenue in Los Altos. • Higham, son of John and September Higham of Mountain View, is a sophomore at Los Altos High. For his Eagle Project, he designed and built a water-misting system for a summer camp in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
