Newcomers Julia Miller and Dennis Chiu will join incumbent John Zoglin on the El Camino Hospital District Board of Directors. Zoglin garnered the most votes in Tuesday's election, 21,961, in the race for the board's three open seats.

Zoglin is followed by Miller, a former Sunnyvale Councilwoman who received 19,919 votes. Chiu, a Sunnyvale attorney, received 17,427 votes to round out the top three.

Incumbent Wesley Alles, who did not actively campaign for re-election, placed fourth with 15,355 votes, while Los Altos resident Bill James placed fifth with 14,746 votes.
