March 25, 1916 - October 7, 2010

Our cherished friend was born in Chicago, IL and moved to California as a young woman. She was an executive secretary; avid golfer; swimmer and bridge player. She was a founding member of the Alto View Alpha’s. As a member of this club and the YWCA; Federated Woman’s Club and St. William’s Church, she enjoyed her exercise classes; walks; luncheons and an active social life with her friends. Dorothea is remembered as elegant; both in fashion and in nature, as a loving, kind and caring woman who enjoyed people and lived a long and good life.

Services will be held at 3:30 PM on Nov. 7, 2012 at

St. William’s Catholic Church, 611 El Monte, Los Altos with a reception, in her honor, to follow in the parish hall. Contributions can be made to Hospice in remembrance of her.
