Filoli’s Holiday Traditions fundraising event, “Let There Be Magic,” is scheduled Nov. 23 through Dec. 1.

The first floor of the historic house and Visitors Center will be transformed into a seasonal showcase with unique decorations, festive music and the Holiday Boutique. Local choral and performing groups and musicians will add ambience throughout the event.

Holiday Traditions will kick off Nov. 23 with the Premier Access Shopping Evening, which includes live music, wine and appetizers. The Nov. 24 Saturday Evening Dinner Party will feature dining and dancing to live music in the Ballroom, with entertainment provided by the Joe Sharino Band.

Buffet lunches and evening bistro dining are available during the week with advance reservations. The Children’s Luncheon Dec. 1, designed for youth 5-10, will include food, a visit with Santa Claus and entertainment.

The collaborative efforts of more than 600 volunteers, along with Filoli staff, create Holiday Traditions each year. The long-standing event, Filoli’s largest fundraiser, supports the preservation and stewardship of the estate.

Ticket prices vary per event. Space is limited. Advance ticket purchase is recommended. Tickets are nonrefundable and nonexchangeable.

To purchase tickets, call Filoli 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays at 364-8300, ext. 508. To download an order form, visit www.filoli.org. The order form may be faxed to 503-2090 or mailed to Attn: Holiday Traditions at Filoli, 86 Caņada Road, Woodside. To purchase online, visit www.filoli.org.
