Sign theft

Oct. 17, 5:32 p.m., 1300 block of Ranchita Drive: A resident reported that someone stole two political signs from his/her property.

Auto burglary

Oct. 18, 8:16 a.m., 200 block of Frances Drive: An unknown suspect broke the rear window of a vehicle overnight and stole bowling equipment.

Grand theft

Oct. 18, 12:36 p.m., 4800 block of El Camino Real: A suspect stole an unattended purse from the seating area at Whole Foods Market.

DUI arrest

Oct. 19, 1:15 a.m., El Camino Real and Del Medio Avenue: Patrol officers arrested a 41-year-old male motorist for driving under the influence of alcohol after they observed his vehicle going up on the curb. The motorist was clocked traveling along El Camino Real at approximately 70 mph.

Suspicious circumstances

Oct. 19, 8:21 a.m., Angela Drive: A resident contacted police after returning home and discovering her rear sliding glass door open. The resident reported that nothing was missing from the house.

Residential burglary

Oct. 19, 11:50 a.m., 1200 block of Golden Way: A suspect entered the home through an unlocked side door, stealing a computer and an Xbox Gaming System.

Misdemeanor warrant

Oct. 21, 1:30 a.m., North San Antonio Road and Alma Court: Police arrested a motorist during a traffic violation stop after determining that he had an outstanding $2,000 traffic warrant.
