Sean Bush, left, accepts a scholarship from Los Altos residents Charles and Nancy Geschke, winners of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Award.

Charles and Nancy Geschke of Los Altos received the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Award Oct. 1 from the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA). The award recognizes their ongoing leadership and philanthropic support of Catholic education.

Sean Bush, a senior at St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio, received a Seton scholarship in the Geschkes’ honor.

NCEA, founded in 1904 and headquartered in Arlington, Va., is a professional membership organization that provides leadership, direction and service to fulfill the evangelizing, catechizing and teaching mission of the church.

NCEA’s members include elementary schools, high schools, parish religious education programs and seminaries.
