Tee it up
The annual Palo Alto City Men’s Golf Championship is scheduled Oct. 27 and 28 at the Palo Alto Golf Course. The format is 36 holes of stroke play. Cost is $150, which includes greens fees and awards. For more information, call Rich Bin at 856-0881.
Horses & Halloween
Pacific Ridge Pony Club’s Halloween Horse Show for youth is scheduled 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 27 at Westwind Barn, 27210 Altamont Road, Los Altos Hills. Entry fee is $8-$20. For more information, visit pacificridge.ponyclub.org.
Pumpkins for sports
The Los Altos High School Sports Boosters have scheduled their annual Pumpkin Patch 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily through Halloween in the student parking lot at 201 Almond Ave. Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes will be available. Proceeds benefit the school’s athletic programs.
Holiday hoops camp
Spartans Sports Camp’s inaugural Holiday Basketball Camp is scheduled 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 26-29 in the Mountain View High gym. It is open to boys and girls in grades 5-8. ‘Reveal’ reel at LAHS
The Bay Area screening of the adventure film “Reveal the Path” is scheduled 7:30-10 p.m. Oct. 26 at Los Altos High’s Eagle Theater, 201 Almond Ave. The film explores – from the seat of a bicycle – Scotland’s lush valleys, Europe’s snow-capped mountains, Morocco’s high desert, Nepal’s rural countryside and Alaska’s rugged coastline.
