Los Altos Discovery Shop profits reach all-time high in FY 2012 |

 Bazarian The American Cancer Society’s Los Altos Discovery Shop won the Denise Noel Achievement Award for exceeding sales expectations. The Dis-covery Shop raised $627,940 in fiscal year 2012, placing it $110,570 over its goal, the highest among the 40 Discovery shops in California and the highest in the stores’ history.
Shop manager Ardy Bazarian, assistant manager Joyce Imprescia, sales associate Gloria Garrison and a group of volunteers led the effort. “The Los Altos Discovery Shop is a team effort within the community,” Bazarian said. “We have incredible volunteers, generous donors and loyal customers who all are supportive of the ACS cause and our shop.” Shop managers and volunteers also support the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, annual events in the Los Altos.
