First Friday takes Oktoberfest theme tonight Print E-mail
Written by Eliza Ridgeway

A biergarten, Bavarian music and a "pumpkin hunt" game are sprouting up downtown tonight (Oct. 5).

From 6-8 p.m. shops stay open late and serve refreshments, the pumpkin game is afoot and candidates in the local election will gather to talk shop.

From 7:30-10 p.m., music, wine and beer will be on tap behind the Costume Bank, 169 State St.

The community group Los Altos Forward organizes "First Friday" events each month with an aim to increasing downtown vibrancy.

For more information, read this week's First Friday schedule.
