The League of Women Voters of the Los Altos-Mountain View Area has scheduled the following forums in advance of the Nov. 6 election.

• 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday: Purissma Hills Water District Board of Directors candidates forum, Mountain View Library Community Room, 585 Franklin St. Co-sponsored by the Mountain View Library.

Four candidates are vying for three seats on the Los Altos Hills-based board: incumbent Ernest Solomon and challengers Steve Jordan, William Bowden and Brian Holtz.

• 7:45-8:45 p.m. Tuesday: El Camino Hospital District Board of Directors candidates forum, Mountain View Library Community Room. Co-sponsored by the Mountain View Library.

Five candidates are vying for three seats on the hospital district board: incumbents John Zoglin and Wesley Alles, and challengers Dennis Chiu, Julia Miller and Bill James.
