Filoli has scheduled its annual Autumn at Filoli Festival 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Activities are planned for all ages, including live music, docent-led nature hikes, a “Happy Birds” presentation, autumnal art projects, puppet and magic shows, face painting, Apple Heritage Scarecrow Doll making and a supervised Family Fun Land with outdoor games for children. The Bubblesmith, who creates giant bubbles, will also be back.

The festival will include tasting of rare heirloom pears, apples and grapes from Filoli’s Gentlemen’s Orchard. Docent-led tours of the historic orchard, which contains more than 650 varieties of heirloom fruit, will be available throughout the day.

The Filoli Garden Shop, open during the festival, will feature guest vendors with artisan creations and edibles including honey, condiments and herb blends from Filoli.

Filoli’s Nature Education Docents will lead hikes through the property and share their knowledge of the natural flora and fauna. Garden Information Docents will answer questions about gardening at home as well as at Filoli.

A barbecue or vegetarian lunch is available by advance purchase for $18; a child’s lunch is $9.

Admission for the festival is $20 for Filoli members, $25 for nonmembers, $5 for children 5-17 and free for children 4 and younger. Advance purchase is recommended due to space constraints. Parking is free.

For more information and to purchase tickets online, call 364-8300, ext. 508, or visit www.filoli.org.
