Dee and John Hornback, 60 years

Dee and John Hornback of Los Altos celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary by hosting 16 of their children, grandchildren and spouses on a private yacht trip on the Adriatic Sea.

The group explored the islands off the Croatian coast, including Mljet, Korcula, Hvar, Vis, Bol and Split.

They spent three days at Krka National Park, where the more adventurous members of the group kayaked down a 15-foot waterfall.

When they disembarked, the ship’s captain told the Hornbacks that he and the crew had never enjoyed such a good time.
