Hit-and-run accident

Sept. 18, 5:46 p.m., Foothill Expressway at Homestead Road: An older gray or blue Honda with four occupants rear-ended a motorist. The driver of the Honda left the scene of the accident before police were notified. No injuries were reported.

Residential burglaries

Sept. 20, 11:19 a.m., 100 block of Arbuelo Way: A resident reported that a burglary suspect removed a bedroom window screen but did not take any items from the home at first inspection.

Sept. 20, 8:24 p.m., 300 block of Loucks Avenue: A burglary suspect gained entry into the home through an unlocked door or window, stealing a laptop, jewelry, cash and a camera for a homeowner loss of approximately $4,000.

Minor injury accident

Sept. 19, 12:14 p.m., 600 block of Almond Avenue: A motorist veering out of the bicycle lane to avoid a parked car struck a 14-year-old cyclist. Responders treated the cyclist at the scene.

Disturbance

Sept. 19, 3:14 p.m., El Camino Real and San Antonio Road: A bus passenger became agitated with the driver over a disputed payment for a bus pass. Police mediated the situation.

Grand theft

Sept. 20, 11:58 a.m., 100 block of Loucks Avenue: A resident reported that approximately $13,000 in jewelry was stolen from her home three weeks earlier.

Drug possession arrest

Sept. 11, 4:21 a.m., Robles Avenue and San Antonio Road: Officers arrested a male suspect for violating his probation and for possessing more than 1 ounce of marijuana after finding the man hiding in his vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up 5 ounces of marijuana.
