"As of today, Californians can register online to vote".
There is a big difference between voting online and registering online.

Not sure if you're still registered? Find out here before Oct. 22, the deadline to postmark or electronically submit registration documents. Oct. 30 is the last day to apply for a mail-in ballot. California State Sen. Leland Yee's SB397, passed into law last year, required the state to add this feature. In the last presidential election, 44 percent of eligible California citizens voted. United States citizens who are over 18 years old and reside in California are typically eligible to vote, but more than 6 million remain unregistered, according to Yee's office. You can read a full listing of Town Crier election coverage here.

"As of today, Californians can register online to vote". There is a big difference between voting online and registering online. :-) 2Comment
