‘Interpretations’ exhibition features Los Altos artists |

Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society pieces, such as the one above, include those by Los Altos residents Adriana Ippati-Torrens, Nancy Calhoun and Karen Wong. Members of the Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society – including Los Altos residents Adriana Ippati-Torrens, Nancy Calhoun and Karen Wong – are scheduled to present their exhibition “Interpretations,” which runs July 10 through Aug. 27 at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library, 150 E. San Fernando St., San Jose. The exhibition features personal interpretations of short poems, quotes or prose in water media. A reception to meet the artists is slated for 2-4 p.m. July 17 at the King Library.
Library hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 1-5 p.m. Sundays. The Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society was formed to further the interest and appreciation of the art of watercolor and other water media. For more information, visit www.scvws.org.
