Spartan Lucas Mohageg scores on a header over Eagle goalie Lucas Champenois Friday. The Mountain View High boys soccer team clinched the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League De Anza Division title with a 2-1 win at Los Altos. The Eagles jumped to an early lead Friday on a goal by Juan Morales, assisted by Jacob Valadez, but the visiting Spartans took the game over in the second half.
Lucas Mohageg tied it on a header – assisted by Gustavo Arredondo – and Garrett Landrith scored the game-winner in the final 15 minutes off a pass from Brad Bumgarner. Mountain View, which swept Los Altos, improved to 8-0-2 in league; Los Altos fell to 5-2-2.
