Mallika Bhandarkar of Los Altos Hills earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Boston University in May.

Jingbin Wang of Mountain View earned a Ph.D. in computer science from Boston University in May.

Danielle Marie LeFevre of Los Altos was named to the dean’s list at Scripps College in Claremont, Calif. LeFevre graduated from Scripps College with a degree in sociology in May.

Lawrence James Kelly of Los Altos earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism/advertising from the University of Oregon in June.

Ashley Offensend of Los Altos earned a master’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Oregon in June.

Charles Elliot Sheinin of Los Altos earned a bachelor’s degree in multimedia design from the University of Oregon in June.

Ariele Greenfield of Los Altos was honored at the 62nd annual UCLA Awards Ceremony in June. The event paid tribute to outstanding alumni, friends, undergraduate and graduate students and distinguished teachers.

Benjamin Tucker of Los Altos graduated magna cum laude from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., May 27. Tucker, an alumnus of The King’s Academy, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Jennifer Gilbert of Los Altos was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa at UC Santa Barbara in June. Gilbert is studying global studies and political science.

Katherine Hudson, daughter of Jeffrey Hudson and Claudia Hudson of Los Altos, earned bachelor’s degrees in American studies and English from Amherst College in Amherst, Mass., May 27.

Los Altans Kelly Artherholt, Blair Dematteis, Brianna Dougherty, Hayley Finkelstein, Ryan Foley, Ariana Green, Laura Hageman, Samuel McCager Hedgepeth IV, Mark Knudtsen, Justine McCanna, Stephanie Ng and Scott Rooker made the dean’s list at UC Santa Barbara. Dragoljub Drmanac and Katherine O’Connell of Los Altos Hills made the dean’s list for the winter quarter. Students must maintain a 3.75 grade-point average to make the dean’s list.

Frederico Noriega of Los Altos earned a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in marketing from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., May 19.

Solomon Wang, son of Mary Tsai of Los Altos and Peter Wang of Mountain View, graduated from George Fox University in Newberg, Ore., April 28. Wang received a bachelor’s degree in psychology, graduating with cum laude honors for maintaining a 3.5 grade-point average.
