RUTH R. MOTOVE
Surrounded by family and friends, our wonderful mother, Ruth Motove, beloved wife of the late Solomon Motove, passed peacefully away on November 17, 2006. She is survived by her two daughters, Sarita (Paul Zeldin) and Marla (David Hackman), grandchildren Rachel and Blaine, and sister Libbie Levin.
Ruth was born in New York and moved to Tucson in 1978. She received her bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College and her master’s degree from Ferkauf University.
Ruth’s passion for teaching and mentoring young adults remained throughout her life. She was a lifetime member of Hadassah and served as an officer in United Order of True Sisters (UOTS). Her artistic and adventuresome spirit will be remembered by all she touched.
We extend our heartfelt thanks for the support and comfort our mother and family received to the staff of Villas of La Cañada and Hospice Family Care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruth’s name to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. A private remembrance service was arranged by Evergreen Mortuary & Cemetery, Tucson, AZ.
