Jerry and Lois Rosenblum, 50 years
Jerry and Lois Rosenblum celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 16 with a two-week trip to England.
They have been active members of the Los Altos community for more than four decades.
Jerry served as president of the Los Altos School District Board of Trustees and currently plays trombone in Ye Olde Towne Band. Lois was PTA president at Loyola School, a scout leader and ran a Youth Employment Service program in Los Altos to match high school students with local employers.
Jerry is an attorney at the Palo Alto office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pitman. Lois is a retired vocational counselor, having worked at the Los Altos location of Jewish Vocational Services.
This summer the Rosenblums hosted a family anniversary celebration, attended by their children, Rick, Frank and Laura with their spouses and three grandchildren.
Tom and Nancy Walsh, 50 years
Tom and Nancy Walsh celebrated their 50th anniversary at a party hosted by their daughters, Elizabeth and Jennifer, at Jennifer’s home in Danville.
They were married Aug. 4,, 1956, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Seattle, Wash.
The couple have lived in Los Altos for 35 years.
