A field of 132 golfers entered the 16th annual Los Altos Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament Aug. 7 at Los Altos Golf & Country Club. The following players received awards.

First-place honors in the scramble format went to Hannelore Blanchard, Dave Blockhus, Jim Milliken and Charlie Marinelli.

The second-place scramble team, sponsored by BMW of Mountain View, included Rick Gebers, Dave Moffat, Joe Wahler and Steve Bisset.

Rich Nielsen and Jeff Myers captured top honors in the two-person best ball category. Walt Joyce and Harvey Berger were second-place winners in the same category.

Gary Young won the closest to the pin contest and longest drive prizes went to Brad Roeber and Cammie Brodie.

“It was another great tournament with some very spirited competition at a spectacular location,” said Kurt Hueg, who served as co-chairman with Kathy Brown.

Proceeds from the annual fundraiser support chamber and community programs.
