First Republic Bank, a leading provider of wealth management and private banking services, opened a preferred banking office in Los Altos July 6. The new location at 400 South San Antonio Road is a full-service office, providing private banking, business banking, real estate lending, investment management, brokerage and trust services.

Managing Director Cynthia Luedtke and Preferred Banking Manager Wyatt Allen, who have been serving Los Altos clients from the Palo Alto office, will manage the local office, the sixth on the Peninsula.

“First Republic’s new Los Altos office expands its presence on the Peninsula and will enable the bank to further enhance its ability to deliver exceptional client service,” said Katherine August-deWilde, chief operating officer of First Republic Bank.

Luedtke, a Los Altos resident, has more than 25 years banking and wealth management experience. Prior to joining First Republic, she worked for Bank of Los Altos and Chase Manhattan Personal Financial Services. She was active in the Los Altos Rotary Club, Los Altos Chamber of Commerce, Los Altos Community Foundation, Partners for New Generations and Silicon Valley Association of Realtors Foundation Trust.

Mountain View resident Allen brings more than 30 years of banking and wealth management experience on the Peninsula. Prior to joining First Republic, he worked for Bank of Los Altos, Great Western and Wells Fargo. He was active in the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce, Community Health Awareness Council, Los Altos Rotary Club, El Camino YMCA, Los Altos Chapter of the United Way, the Festival of Lights Association and Los Altos Village Association.
