Possible hit and run

May 11, 5:30 a.m., Magdalena Avenue, Los Altos Hills: A man was left unconscious after a bicycling accident. The victim was discovered by a neighbor and remains in intensive care at Stanford Hospital. The sheriff’s department is investigating whether another vehicle was involved. Anyone with information should contact the West Valley sheriff at (408) 868 6600.

Stolen vehicle

May 11, 5:03 a.m., Homestead Road: A forklift truck was stolen from behind Trader Joe’s. Later recovered.

Driving offenses

May 12, 10:36 a.m., S. El Monte Avenue/Interstate 280: Glen Page, 43, from San Jose, stopped by police after a minor traffic violation and cited for driving on a suspended license.

May 12, 5:08 p.m., Loucks Avenue/San Antonio Road: Thomas Castro, 36, of Union City was stopped after a minor traffic violation and found to be driving on a suspended license and to have an outstanding $5,000 warrant from Southern California. He was booked by police.

May 12, 4:29 p.m., El Camino Real/Jordan Avenue: Cindia De Arenas, 24, of Sunnyvale was booked for a traffic violation.

May 13, 2:11 a.m., Grant Road/Covington Road: Moises Cruz, 22, arrested for driving under the influence after police found him slumped over the wheel of his vehicle. Two passengers, Francisco Vazquez, 28, and Cesar Torres-Perez, 26, were arrested for public intoxication. All the men are believed to be from San Jose.

Burglary

May 14, 6:48 p.m., 2000 block of Crist Drive: Two toilets were stolen from a house under construction.

Theft

May 15, 7 a.m., 900 block of Hayman Place: $80 cash stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.
